Opening Night: October 5
Welcome to life on the edge, played out in a suburban backyard. When Ben loses his job as a bank loan officer, he and his wife Mary ponder how they can stay afloat. Then Sharon and Kenny—who met in rehab, work dead-end jobs, and can’t afford more than ramen noodles for dinner—move into the long- vacant house next door. Over impromptu, charged, and often hilarious patio encounters, these two very different couples find common ground in the new economic doldrums, culminating in a “delirious, dangerous bacchanal.”
The New York Times calls Detroit:
“…a sharp X-ray of the embattled American psyche… a dark comedy as rich and addictively satisfying as a five-layer dip served up with a brimming bowl of tortilla chips.”
Tickets range from $25-$36. Call our Box Office for a special “Under 30″ discount. Rush tickets are available for $15 cash the night of the show.
