Brian Demar Jones
Brian was born in Orlando Florida, went to college in upstate New York and earned his MFA in theatre at the University of Washington. While a sophomore at a Bishop Kearney high school in Rochester, Brian was coerced into auditioning for the school musical. He landed the lead and never looked back. Brian spent last season on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival stages performing in Love’s Labors Lost and Henry IV, Part 2. He performed at the Coeur D’Alene Summer Theatre in a handful of shows including La Cage Aux Folles, Once Upon a Mattress and Les Miserables and has performed in a number of Seattle area theatres including Book-It and The 5th Avenue Theatres. Brian’s varied resume includes film performances, commercials and stage directing. Most recently he directed and performed in readings for the Fertile Ground Festival. His favorite southern dish -“ do I have to choose a favorite?” –might be catfish and collard greens.
