Jennifer was born in Fort Lewis Washington, grew up in North Carolina and has circled back to settle in the northwest after earning a BFA at the well regarded North Carolina School of the Arts. She has worked professionally as an actor since she was 18 and wryly admits that it’s the only thing she is qualified to do. Jennifer’s recent work in Portland has included the Portland Playhouse production of Gem of the Ocean, The Hillsboro Story at ART, her award-winning solo show None of the Above at IFCC as well as a handful of television guest starring roles. Jennifer is visited by a recurring dream in which she is searching for something in her house. She doesn’t know what it is. She looks in pockets and drawers and money keeps falling into her hands –but that’s not what she’s looking for. Her family laughs and laughs as money continues to fall around her. Jennifer loves sweet potatoes in many forms. She also loves a special recipe of collard, mustard and turnip greens that her mama used to make.
