Kathleen Dimmick

Kathleen lives in New York City and works as a director, dramaturg, and teacher. She has directed new plays in NewYork,Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, including Quincy Long’s The Lively Lad and the Por Quinly plays for A.S.K.Theatre, and Judy Blume’s Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing for the Kennedy Center. She spent four seasons as Resident Dramaturg at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She has worked as production dramaturg at New York Theatre Workshop,The Guthrie Theatre, and Theatre for a New Audience and has served as resident director at New Dramatists, a playwright development organization in New York. Ms. Dimmick holds an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama and currently teaches theatre at Bennington College in Vermont.
