Mia Lewis was born and raised in North and Northeast Portland, Oregon in the heart of the community. She has spent her personal career working for non-profits such as Self Enhancement Inc. Morrison Child and Family Services and Portland Public School District.

After some soul searching Mia decided to combine her love for non-profit work, community involvement, event planning and the arts as her next career move. In September of 2022 she came across an opening at the Playhouse. Unknowingly she had a special connection to the Playhouse. Her Great-Great Uncle Emmanuel Warren pastored at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church many years ago. As a believer that there's no such thing as coincidence everything seemed meant to be! The rest is history.

Outside of the Playhouse, Mia enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a proud and dedicated mother and fiance. She is heavily involved in the community. She has served on the Board of Directors for The Portland Rose Festival and currently serves on the planning team for the Good in the Hood Festival.
