Cassie Greer

Interim Marketing & Communications Director

pronouns: she/her

Cassie has spent her career working with arts nonprofits and education organizations as a creative producer, performer, teacher, and administrator… as well as several things in between. Formally trained in the MFA Acting program at Florida Atlantic University; the BA Theatre, History, and Music programs at Goshen College; and in the 9th Certification group of Fitzmaurice Voicework® teachers, Cassie also enjoys the constant hands-on learning and creativity that comes with working to help arts organizations thrive.

An Oregon resident since 2011, Cassie spent the bulk of her first decade in the Portland area with Hillsboro's Bag&Baggage Productions, working in a variety of capacities on close to 50 productions and performance events, and serving as Artistic Director from 2019-2022.

At the Playhouse, Cassie dabbles in a little bit of everything – stage management, education, marketing, finance… you might even see her on stage every now and then! Outside of this work, you can also find her helping to run Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works, teaching or coaching actors and stage managers, doing voiceover work, performing improv comedy, or finding a good rock to climb.
