A transformative, musical wonderland that’s fun for all the family

This traditional tale – full of wonder and joy – is surprisingly staged and contemporarily cast; it’s the perfect dose of holiday fun – for all the family.
Please note: Our production of A Christmas Carol is offered as an add-on performance to our Season 15 ticket package. However, if you purchase season tickets now, you will receive a 10% discount code that can be used on tickets to A Christmas Carol.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
- Krista Garver, Broadway World: "If you happened to be at Portland Playhouse for A Christmas Carol last Thursday, you might have noticed a woman in the front row who started crying about 5 minutes in. That was me, once again being pierced straight through the heart by this perfect piece of theatre."
- Willamette Week ,ShannPortland on Gormley and Jack Rushall:"You don't expect the traditionalist version of an extremely familiar play to be mind-blowing. But Portland Playhouse leverages the well-trodden script to show off some arty production values that are actually very cool. "
- Portland Observer: "This show provides an intimate, heart swelling experience..."
