Did you know that ticket sales cover only 30% of our expenses? Our ability to present the intimate, high quality theatre that we are known for depends a lot on the generosity of our community. No matter how large or small, each donation has a direct impact on our main stage plays, education and outreach efforts, along with the special event programs that grace our stage throughout the year.
We believe the practice and participation in theatre is part of the Peace Movement. For the opposite of violence is not the absence of violence, but creation. The active creating of something that expresses life.
We believe art is preventative medicine. For the practice of empathy improves our mental health, inspires well being, and gives us energy.
We believe arts are a necessity for our students. That a well-rounded education with access to theatre, visual arts, and music will nurture the citizens of tomorrow. And access to arts should be for ALL students in whatever school they attend.
