Jakai Thomas
He/Him

Youth Understudy

I am a 13‑year‑old actor and musician based in Portland, committed to growing my skills and continuing my performance career. I began acting in 2nd grade and spent four years training and performing with Passion Arts, where I developed experience in acting, directing, set design, and costume design. My musical training includes four years of flute with Bravo, and I am currently studying trumpet with Miss Walsdow in my advanced band class.

I am a dedicated student, a strong collaborator, and excited to audition for future Portland Playhouse productions. I am looking for a community of actors where I can learn, grow, and contribute creatively. After watching Portland Playhouse productions and observing rehearsals, I feel it would be a meaningful place for me to develop as a young artist. I have a lot to offer, and I am eager to be part of a professional, supportive creative environment.
